Technical Data - 146.820 MHz. System - W9OBH/R

System Location: The repeater is located in the Madison County EOC at 200 N. Delaware St. Anderson. The supporting tower is 360 feet with the antenna mounted at 250 feet on the south side of the tower.

RF Package: The repeater package is a Kenwood TKR-750 unit rated at 50 watts output running at 25 watts (installed Oct. 2001). It has provisions for an internal repeater control if needed. A heavy duty power supply is included.

Controller: The controller is a Computer Automation Technologies CAT-1000. This unit provides the on- frequency typical control functions. It also includes a digital audio memory to sample and replay received audio. Several macro variations announce the status of activity on the repeater.

Duplexer: The duplexer is a WACOM WP-641 Bandpass-Reject unit composed of four six inch diameter cavities. The receiver and transmitter side losses are about 1.5 dB (retuned, Jan. 2017).

Antenna: The antenna is a Telewave ANT150F6, an omnidirectional 6 dB gain (April 2010). It is mounted at 250', 6 feet out from the tower.

Feedline: The feedline is 7/8 inch diameter 50 Ohm Heliax, about 300 feet long, with a loss of about .6 dB per 100 feet.

Coverage: The effective radiated power of the system is 50 watts with a usable range to a typical handheld of 15 miles and a mobile of about 30 miles.


Technical Data - 147.090 MHz. System - KB9VE/R

System Location: The repeater is located at the County radio system site, Fire Training Center on Martin Luther King Dr., south of Anderson. The tower is 450 feet high with this antenna at 150 feet. This installation was completed in January, 2017.

RF Package: The repeater is a Kenwood TKR-720 adjusted for 30 watts output (Jan. 2000).

Controller: The controller is a Micro Security MS-101 that includes all tone decoding, audio processing and control functions. There are no autopatch functions associated with this repeater. IRLP capability was added in April, 2003.

Duplexer: The duplexer is a WACOM WP-641 Bandpsss-Reject unit composed of four six inch diameter tuned cavities. The receiver and transmitter loss is about 1.6 dB.

Feedline: The feedline is 200 feet of 7/8 inch Heliax hardline.

Antenna: The antenna is a Sinclair SRL249*4 fiberglas omnidirectional 6 dB gain. It is mounted at 150', 6 feet from the tower on the north side.

Coverage: The effective radiated power of the system is about 60 watts with a usable range to a handheld of about 12 miles, and 25 mile range to a typical mobile.

Technical Data - 443.350 MHz. System - WA9CWE/R

System Location: The repeater is located at the County radio system site, Fire Training Center on Martin Luther King Dr., south of Anderson. The tower is 450 feet high with this antenna at 250 feet. This installation was completed in January, 2017.

RF Package: The repeater is a Kenwood NexEdge NXR-810K2 (purchased July 2011) with an output of 40 watts.

Controller: The controller is the internal controller for the NexEdge.

Duplexer: The duplexer is internally mounted in the cabinet of the repeater.

Feedline: The feedline is about 300 feet of 7/8 inch Heliax hardline.

Antenna: The antenna is a Phelps Dodge fiberglas omnidirectional 6 dB gain unit. It is located 6 feet out from the tower on the north side at 250 feet.

Coverage: The effective radiated power of the system is 50 watts with a usable range to a handheld of about 12 miles, and 50 mile range to a typical mobile.
